It’s my first time back in Orlando since graduating high school in 2003. This venue brought back many memories, like seeing Alicia Keys open up for Maxwell shortly after releasing her incredible debut album Songs In A Minor and being in awe of P!nk’s talent after she released her breakthrough sophomore album M!ssundaztood.

I also auditioned for and won a scholarship to the Hard Rock Academy. It was here where I met a teenager who had no real musical talents, but was so spiritually gifted, that I no longer identified with any particular religion [I grew up Baptist] and strove to have a more direct & personal relationship with God. To say the least, that experience forever changed my life. 

Now, I can add seeing Wilco to the list of memorable experiences at the Hard Rock in Orlando!

This band was nothing short of amazing! Six incredible musicians played for more than two hours, while the lead singer went through many crowd favorites, obscure songs & b-sides from their catalog. It seemed like the lead singer and guitarist on the left of the picture changed guitars for each song and they also did TWO encores!! The audience definitely got their money’s worth. As of tonight, I am now a fan.
