"Racial understanding, racial sympathy, is the key to permanent WORLD PEACE." – J.A. Rogers, Sex & Race Vol. 1 (1952)
i stumbled across this bird as it laid on the pavement surrounded by other birds, unable to move. i helped it gain its footing, but i realized it was unable to fly so i picked it up and held it in my hand until it was ready to fly away. by the time i walked across the street, the bird took its final breath. life is so unexpected. make the most of it while you’re here.
